Morning an interesting drive on a car, coach as per size of a group heading east beyond Kathmandu valley. Enjoy the rural countryside villages and towns during the drives of 80 k.m on good paved road near Jiri town. Then the drive diverts on 70 k.m. on a rough dirt but smooth winding road to Kuri village for overnight halt.

The drive is approx. 5-6 hours the most on 150 km / 94 miles driving distance, the walk from Kuri village and the lodge to Kalinchowk temple. Which is about 2-3 hours hike on 5-6 km distance with short climb and downhill trail.

Yes, young infants to elderly people can join on this trek, however for small babies needs to be carried. Where one can hire an extra porter to carry the young ones on short hike to Kalinchowk Temple and back to the lodge.

At Kuri village houses fine lodge with nice rooms, simple but clean serves various types of food menu from Continental, Chinese and Indian to Nepali meals.
