After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Paro, Bhutan. The scenic flight offers stunning views of the Himalayan range. Upon arrival at Paro International Airport, you will be welcomed by our Bhutanese guide and driver. After completing the immigration formalities, drive to Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan. En route, visit the Tachogang Lhakhang (Iron Bridge Temple). Upon reaching Thimphu, check into your hotel and have lunch. In the afternoon, visit the National Memorial Chorten and Tashichho Dzong. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Thimphu.
In the morning, take a short hike to Chimi Lhakhang, also known as the Fertility Temple, dedicated to Lama Drukpa Kunley. Afterward, drive back to Paro, with a stop at the Simtokha Dzong, one of the oldest fortresses in Bhutan, built in 1629. Upon arrival in Paro, check into your hotel and have lunch. In the afternoon, visit the Ta Dzong, which houses the National Museum of Bhutan, and the Paro Rinpung Dzong, a fortress-monastery overlooking the Paro Valley. After an early breakfast, prepare for a hike to the iconic Taktsang Monastery (Tiger's Nest), perched on a cliffside 900 meters above the Paro Valley. The hike takes about 4-5 hours round trip and offers breathtaking views of the monastery and surrounding landscapes. After visiting the monastery, hike back down and have lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, visit the Kyichu Lhakhang, one of the oldest and most sacred temples in Bhutan. Spend the evening at leisure or explore Paro town. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Paro.
After breakfast, transfer to Paro International Airport for your flight back to Kathmandu. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, you will be transferred to your hotel. Spend the rest of the day at leisure, doing some last-minute shopping or relaxing at your hotel. In the evening, enjoy a farewell dinner at a hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Tribhuvan International Airport for your final departure. Depending on your flight schedule, you may have some free time for last-minute shopping or sightseeing.
