Morning after breakfast, our city and cultural guide receives you at the hotel for exciting tour. The drive leads in the heart of Kathmandu city, where interesting historical Durbar Square / Palace Courtyard located. The right spot to observe Nepalese cultures. Tour of ancient monuments listed in UNESCO World Heritage Sites, next tour takes you to old Swyambhunath Stupa of more than 2,600 years history. A Buddhist monument situated on a hillock west of Kathmandu city outskirt, the famous landmark of the country.
Kathmandu Durbar Square:
Located at the heart of the city, Kathmandu Durbar Square serves as a living museum of Nepal's royal history. Surrounded by ancient palaces, courtyards, and temples, the square boasts a captivating blend of Malla and Shah architecture. The Hanuman Dhoka Palace, with its intricately carved wooden windows and doors, stands as a testament to the city's regal past.

Boudha:
Heading northeast, the journey culminates at Boudha, home to the majestic Boudha Stupa. This UNESCO World Heritage Site stands as a profound symbol of Buddhism. The colossal white dome, adorned with the Buddha's all-seeing eyes, creates a serene and contemplative atmosphere.
Surrounding the stupa is a bustling market where vendors offer an array of Tibetan artifacts, prayer flags, and traditional handicrafts. The rhythmic chants of prayers, the spinning of prayer wheels, and the fluttering of colorful flags contribute to the spiritual ambiance. Pilgrims circumambulate the stupa, engaging in prayer and ritual, while nearby monasteries house monks immersed in their daily practices.

An exciting morning and interesting day, transfer to a private coach or in a regular Tourist Bus for Pokhara.
Traveling overland is interesting to observe the country’s rural farm life, as the drive leads beyond Kathmandu valley. Facing views of snow peaks along the drive, as the drive reach low warm farm villages and towns. The main highway follows Trisuli River for few hours, then heads west with great views of Manaslu and Annapurna Himalayas. Then finally ending the journey at beautiful city of Pokhara where all good hotels located by the serene Phewa lake side.

Morning enjoy the views of Annapurna Himalayas while enjoying breakfast.
Depart from the hotel for a short interesting drive beyond Pokhara city and the
Valley. Drive leads on a nice Baglung and Pokhara Highway, heading up to Nau-Danda, facing grand views of Annapurna Himalayan peaks.
Then heading higher reaching Kande village, located on a road-side, after the drive the trek starts. The climb leads into cool forest to a wide grassy field atAustralian Camp, also called Thulo Kharka. A lovely scenic spot with excellent views of Annapurna, Manaslu Himalayas with Mt. Dhaulagiri and towering Machhapuchare Himal. After a short refreshing break down to join the main trail of Dhampus and Potana villages. A short climb brings you to Potana for overnight halt in the comfort of nice lodge, overlooking views of towering Machhapuchare Himal.
From Potana enjoy the morning grand views of snow-capped peaks, having breakfast. Adventure starts, heading into cool shade of dense forest as climb continues to a high ridge of Pritam Deurali. A lovely view-point facing Mt. Dhaulagiri with peaks of Annapurna Himalayan range.
After a good short rest, our route diverts leaving the main trail heading north towards high Mardi Himal. Walk follows a steep up through dense tree lines of rhododendron, magnolia, oaks and pines. As walk continues reaching our overnight destination at Forest Camp. A small settlement with few simple lodges to cater the trekkers, situated amidst lovely forest surrounding.
After a pleasant overnight within tranquil environment at Forest Camp, morning walk leads to a steep up. From here following a high ridge path through dense woodland, facing occasional views of snow-capped peaks.
After hours of good hike reaching a nice small open field at Low Camp, also called Badal Camp. As this area is covered in thick mist during the afternoon time, a pleasant place for overnight stop. The Low camp with few small lodges, but neat and tidy rooms for comfort.
Morning from Low Camp, following the high route towards Mardi High Camp, the climb follows along the ridge line. As walk continues the tall trees and dense vegetation, slowly gives away for short alpine bushes.
After hours of climb then finally ends the day trek reaching an open and exposed ridge, where High Camp is situated for overnight stop.
Today’s hike leads towards our main goal and highlights to Mardi View-Point, as well the highest spot of the adventure. Start the morning quite earlier for a long day walk to our major destination and back down to Low-Camp.
The trek follows a high trail on a narrow ridge path, quite a steep haul for few hours; until a small plateau is reached. Where Mardi Himal View-Point located close beneath the staggering peaks of Machhapuchare and Mardi Himal.
From the View-Point and the highest place of the trek, enjoy stunning panorama of Annapurna Himalayan range of peaks. An amazing spot facing Jaw-
Dropping scenery of rolling green hills with alluring snow-capped mountains. After a glorious morning views and exciting moments, return walk down to High Camp, having a short refreshing break. The walk continues downhill back into Dense woodland reaching Low Camp for last overnight on the high hills of Mardi Himal.
Today, the last day of trekking, enjoy the morning and afternoon heading downhill to the foot of Mardi Himal hill. The trail leads through thick vegetation and tree lines, following the faint trail past meadows and grazing fields.
One of the longest day walk of the journey, on leaving the High Camp heading down towards Low Camp. From here taking an alternative route downhill all the way to the bottom of Mardi Himal high hills. Where the temperatures gets much warmer on reaching the low farm land at Siding village for last overnight stop before Pokhara.
Enjoy the morning overlooking views of beautiful surrounding hills and Snow Peaks. After a pleasant overnight stop at Siding farm village, a short interesting drive follows the Mardi River to Mardipul village. As drive continues past the Hyanja village reaching Pokhara old city area, and then back to your hotel. Afternoon free at leisure for individual activities before dinner, enjoy the last day around exciting and scenic Pokhara.
Depart from the hotel at Pokhara, for interesting overland journey back to Kathmandu on the same scenic highway. On reaching the hotel in Kathmandu by late afternoon, rest of day free for individual activities and shopping souvenirs.

In the early days from 1960’ to 1980’s it was least visited to Mardi Himal, except for some few trekkers climbing the Mardi Himal. The main reason only few companies organized the trek to Mardi Himal, which was a camping trip.
As there were no lodges available, but from last decades as the influx of trekkers increased, where lodges and guest houses has been built. The trek to Mardi Himal is gaining more popular from last few years.
The trek overall is not too tough or difficult, the trail is well defined having several nice lodges and settlements. The only hardest day is steep climb to Mardi Himal View-Point and back to Low Camp. Due to the length of a walk covering long distances. But taking slowly and having rest will overcome the tough and long day of trekking.
Mardi Himal is the main highlight of the trip, located on a high ridge at 4,500 m / 14,850 feet. As for Mardi Himal is also a trekking peaks, listed in NMA (Nepal Mountaineering Association) which is at above 5,587 m and 18,330 feet high.
Around Annapurna Himalayan and the villages, including smaller settlements have hydroelectricity or solar power. Trekkers can charge electronic items on paying a small fee for charging each gadgets as per hour basis, the price differs from one place to another. However, the internet and Wi-Fi are not clear with disturbance, due to the location hidden by high hills and mountains.
