Mr. Prakash Babu Bhatta was born in the historic district of Gorkha, renowned as the gateway to the legendary Manaslu region. His career in tourism began at an early age as a trekking porter. Through dedication and perseverance, he gained extensive field knowledge and later achieved a professional Trekking Guide License issued by the Government of Nepal.
After serving for many years as a trekking guide, Mr. Bhatta envisioned offering services at a broader, more professional level. With over 26 years of experience in the tourism industry, he founded Himalayan Forever Treks to provide high-quality, personalized travel services to adventurers from all over the world.
Since its establishment, Himalayan Forever Treks has been committed to meeting the diverse travel desires of its clients. From cultural tours and adventure treks to peak climbing and expeditions, the company ensures every journey is tailored to create lifelong memories.
Mr. Bhatta has traveled widely, gaining valuable cross-cultural insights. His journeys have taken him across Europe—including Germany, the Netherlands, Austria, Belgium, Hungary Switzerland. and France —as well as several Asian destinations such as Singapore, India, Tibet, Bhutan, and Thailand. Most recently, he revisited Europe, further strengthening his understanding of international travelers’ expectations. This global perspective allows Himalayan Forever Treks to design experiences that align perfectly with the needs of visitors to Nepal.
Beyond tourism, Himalayan Forever Treks takes pride in giving back to the community. Mr. Bhatta has actively supported humanitarian initiatives in partnership with organizations such as MCC Netherlands, BAL Balika Nepal/Germany, CHANCE for Nepal, and BUNCH. These efforts focus on improving the lives of underprivileged children and supporting local communities in Nepal.

I was born in Gorkha, one of the most historic districts of Nepal. After completing my school-level education, I began my journey in the tourism industry in 1995. My career started humbly as a porter, and through years of hard work, dedication, and overcoming challenges, I gradually advanced to become a licensed trekking guide in Nepal. Over the years, I have had the privilege of leading hundreds of clients from across the world on treks through the majestic Himalayas as well as tours to Nepal’s historical and cultural sites.
Later in my career, I spent a few years in South Korea, working as a sales executive for a Korean company. Although the experience was valuable, I realized my true passion and dream remained deeply rooted in Nepal’s tourism industry. With this realization, I returned to my homeland and resumed my career in tourism, this time taking on greater responsibility as a manager at Himalayan Forever Treks.
Looking back on my journey, I am proud of the challenges I have overcome and the experiences that shaped me into who I am today. Every step I have taken—whether in the mountains or abroad—has strengthened my skills, resilience, and dedication. These experiences have placed me in a stronger position to serve travelers with professionalism, warmth, and care.
Over the years, I have had the honor of meeting people from all around the world, and I am grateful that many of them carry unforgettable memories of Nepal. Their happiness and satisfaction continue to inspire me to give my very best in this field.
Mr. Gakul Bhatta was born and raised in the historic Gorkha District of Nepal, a region renowned as the birthplace of modern Nepal and home to the majestic Manaslu region.
