After an early morning flight from Kathmandu to Lukla, known for its challenging airstrip amidst the Himalayas, you will begin your trek to Phakding. The flight offers spectacular views of the Himalayan range. Upon landing in Lukla, you will embark on a scenic trek to Phakding, passing through picturesque villages and crossing suspension bridges over the Dudh Koshi River. Overnight stay in Phakding.
Today's trek takes you from Phakding to Namche Bazaar, the bustling hub of the Khumbu region. The trail meanders through lush forests, crossing several suspension bridges and offering glimpses of Mount Everest and other surrounding peaks. Leaving Namche Bazaar behind, you will trek towards Tengboche, passing through serene forests and picturesque villages. Along the way, you will make a stop at Hotel Everest View for breathtaking views of Everest and other Himalayan peaks. Today, you will retrace your steps back to Monjo, enjoying the familiar trails and scenic views along the way.
